How leaseback works

You own the property. The builder leases it back.

  1. 01

    Choose your property

Compare the design, layout, price and specified inclusions of your preferred home.

  2. 02

Review the purchase and leaseback terms

Confirm the construction or display status, commencement requirements, ownership costs and handback provisions.

  3. 03

Lease the completed home to the builder

The builder uses the home for display under the relevant agreement. Income starts at the agreed commencement point, not automatically on purchase.

Initial term: minimum two years

Advertised leaseback: 8% p.a. gross

Initial term · minimum 24 months

Possible extensions · up to four × six months

Optional under the relevant agreement, not guaranteed.

Extensions are subject to the relevant lease provisions and are not guaranteed. The initial term plus all four extensions could total four years. Confirm extension rates and obligations for the individual property.

Gross leaseback income is before ownership expenses, finance costs and tax. Commencement and handback are governed by the relevant agreement; confirm these terms and the current programme before purchasing.
